This picture shows the end of the steering cable. It has a history of getting stuck, but we can ususally free it up by hitting it with a hammer while trying to turn the steering wheel. This year though it's stuck solid.

This is the head of our old Johnson V120 sitting in the bed of Ray's truck. It weighs well over 200lbs but somehow we managed to lift it.
This is the motor on our Robolo after Ray and I had removed the motor.
We threw the pieces of our Johnson 120 V4 VRO motor into the back of Ray's truck. We haven't figured out what to do with them yet.
Ray and I took the original motor off the Robolo in preparation for installing a new motor. We're planning to get a Mercury 115 4 stroke.
We put the Robalo up on blocks and pulled the trailer out from under it so we could get the trailer ready for the ride to Bass Pro Shops to get the new motor. August 14, 2015

Ray and I went to Bass Pro Shops to put a downpayment on a Mercury 115 HP 4 stroke motor. The store has some interesting displays, but I should have taken a picture of the motor.
We changed out the hubs and bearings. I opted to change the hubs rather than bang out the old bearings. This was the quickest but not the cheapest approach.
Ray replaced all the rollers on our trailer with these eye catching yellow ones. Augus 21, 2015
Ray and I lined up the trailer before sliding it back under the boat. August 21, 2015

The boat and trailer are ready for the trip to Bass Pro Shop to have the Mercury 115hp 4 stroke bolted onto it.
Ray and I bought this motor for our Robalo.

We raised the center console to get to the cable trough and gas tank. August 24, 2015
Since we already had the center console removed we went ahead and removed the gas tank. We figured it would make it easier to flush out any sludge that might have accumulated during the 4 years the boat sat idle with the gas tank full.
We found a hole in the tank and a spot where the metal had been rubbed thin. I pushed for a new tank because I don't trust epoxy, we don't know if we'll be able to get the sludge out, and other spots were wearing thin. Ray seemed to agree.
We used this sticker to track down a replacement tank. The original manufacturer had sold out to a new company but they had the design drawings and could cross reference the part number.
The Robalo Ray and I own on Cape Cod.
