Storm clouds started rolling in just before the wedding started. Up until this point the weather had been cloudy with occaisonal breaks of sun.
This was the scene moments before the weddomg. It had been mostly cloudy up until this point with occaisional periods of sun.
A hard rain started to fall.
Ray's best frient Joe (on the left) drove Diane to the wedding in his Mercedes. I noticed his license plate number was "GIBS". That's the name of the buisness he shares with Ray. I wonder if the name orginated from a discussion Ray and I once had.
Diane and Casey wait in the rain.
Ray and Diane hired a bagpiper to supply the music for their wedding. It was a good choice for an outdoor wedding.
Kristen is carrying an umbrella that I got from Heywood Hospital. it was a gift for my volunteer work.
With rain continuing to fall Tim performed the service while Kristen and I held umbrellas.
The rain stopped as Diane and Ray exchanged rings.
Diane and her briedsmaids put together some planters for the ceremony. The tall plants were roses.

The flowers were delivered just minutes before the wedding. The delivery was the second most worrisome thing beyond our control. The weather obviously was the first.
I put my butonniere in a bottle of water and it lasted for over a week.
Ray's niece, Dannielle, was and unexpected surprise. A family friend paid for her trip to Massachusetts and kept it a secret from Ray.
Ray's family had a great time at his wedding.
The tables were elegant, as was the rest of the reception.
The food and drinks were excellent. There was beef, fish, and pasta. The fish was the the best. It was an open bar with attentive servers constantly roaming the hall in search of someone in need of something to drink or eat.
The Aucoins are some of Ray's best friends. From left to right; Emilly, Ray, Michelle, and Joe.
The mellow music was a welcome change from the typical canned DJ or deafining rock band. This was the first reception I ever attended where I could talk to people.
The reception was elegant. Diane and her bridemaids put together the center pieces.
